Preloved isn’t perfect. Nor should it pretend to be. Every piece is individually assessed and honestly described—from beautifully developed patina and softened leather to corner wear, scratches and other signs of a life well carried.

My love of handbags started as a Brooklyn teen, falling hard for craftsmanship — the touch, the feel, the smell of leather, the way great hardware sits in your hand. That obsession became a dream role in strategic marketing and market research at Coach, where I learned to read a bag like a book: leather, lining, hardware, stitching, and how it all works for real life.
After a many-year hiatus raising my husband's clones (a.k.a. our kids), I'm back. I hand-select every bag for character and longevity, choosing only pieces I'd be proud to carry myself. Pricing is transparent, sourcing is thoughtful, and I'm here for your questions from first click to final delivery.
I believe every handbag tells a story — some are so unique they practically narrate themselves. Those are my favorites. My own collection is a photo album: I can tell you where I was, who I was with, even which glass held my champagne. Silly? Maybe. True? Absolutely.
When I'm not treasure-hunting, I'm restoring vintage pieces, crafting gnomes and jewelry, and cuddling two miniature dachshunds.
